Reading this guide: questions worth asking

Editorial guidance prepared 2026-10-04 from the reviewed record. This is not a new financial or field audit.

JVC is a Japanese nonprofit whose FY2025 report describes local-partner work through March 2026. Its Gaza section includes February distributions; other countries have different activities. Ended Afghanistan and South Sudan programmes are excluded from the matches. The Japanese giving selector offers general one-time and recurring support, so choosing a country here does not itself restrict a gift.

Before you give

  • Does your chosen giving option support the wider portfolio or explicitly designate the programme you intend?
  • Have you confirmed the Japanese-yen terms and whether the contribution is one-time or recurring?

Follow progress

  • Look for newer reports for the selected country, distinguishing local delivery from plans and access constraints.
  • If you want to give time, ask about current eligibility and openings rather than assuming the organization's name promises a placement.

The Japanese annual report is organization-authored and covers a stated past period. It does not establish present partner access, current volunteer openings, field outcomes or use of a new general gift.

Help beyond money

Read and share the dated operational sources. No volunteer vacancy or deployment is promised.

Read the dated activity source before sharing information. Respect consent, preserve context and correct errors. Explore ways to help beyond money.

After you contribute
  1. Keep the confirmation and appeal terms. Most pooled gifts cannot be traced individually to one recipient.
  2. Set a reminder to read the next programme update or report.
  3. Look for services delivered, barriers, unmet needs and what changed. Adjust your support as you learn.
